IMPORTANT - ALL DOGS MUST BE COMFORTABLE RESTING IN YOUR CAR BETWEEN THEIR SEARCHES. For dogs that are on Gun Oil, kong or toy. To learn more about Nosework Work Games go to https://noseworkgames.org/ Not everyone enjoys competing but that doesn’t mean to say they don’t want to develop great skills and have them assessed in a non competitive environment. With our skill assessments you can work your way through each level, and be assessed on the exact same skills that you would have in competition. You can attain the Nosework Games levels such as Newbie, On the Way up etc but as a skills team. Skill assessments and competitions are entirely different and completion of one does not affect eligibility for another. From 1st September 2024 handlers wishing to be assessed at Levels 2 or above must be members of Nosework Games. They will need to start at level 1 and complete each level for that game, before they can start the next level for that game. They can do the skills assessment for as many or as few games as they wish. Handlers will be required to keep a simple logbook where organisers will sign off games levels as they are completed. This will be required to be shown when entering any assessment above level 1. It is suggested photographic evidence of this is also kept in case of loss. If a team successfully completes 8 different games skill assessments within a level, they will become a Nosework Games Skill team for that level and can apply to Nosework Games admin for a certificate and for a small fee a Nosework Games skills level rosette. Organisers will provide a rosette for each level of each game successfully completed. This rosette will have the name of the game and the level printed on it. A certificate template will be on noseworkgames.org for the handler to print if they wish. All guidelines for Nosework Games apply to the skills assessment, except that 1 wrong alert will be allowed in each skill assessment and all target odours must be successfully located. In a game with unknown hides the handler must call the area clear before the time allowed ends.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE START OF ANY CLASS OR COURSE WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND. TRAINING CLASSES/COURSES You can cancel your place up to 2 weeks before the start of class or course and a full refund will be given. Cancellations up to 1 week until start of class or course will be given 50% refund. Any cancellations made in the 7 days before the start of a class or course will not be refunded. This will only be reviewed in exceptional circumstances. If we have to cancel an entire class or course, you will receive a full refund OR be offered and alternative class or course. If we have to re-arrange a session within a class or course due to weather, staff illness, emergency situation etc, we will offer you an alternative date. WE DO NOT GIVE PRO RATA REFUNDS IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE ALTERNATIVE OPTION. Whilst we make every effort to carry out classes on the advertised dates there are occasions when it simply isn't possible. 1:1 SESSIONS Once booked these sessions can be cancelled two weeks before training package commences and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before training session commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. All 1:1 Dog Training Packages must be completed within a 6-month period except upon prior written agreement. COVID 19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION In the event of the introduction of a national or local lockdown all payments taken for 1:1 training, training classes or behaviour consultations will either become a credit on your file or they will continue in an appropriate online format. No refunds will be given but every option will be explored to ensure learning continues for you and your dog safely and in line with your original training goals. All classes will be honoured but please note that COVID-19 government restrictions may result in a delay.
