IMPORTANT - ALL DOGS MUST BE COMFORTABLE RESTING IN YOUR CAR BETWEEN THEIR SEARCHES. We all know that dogs have the most amazing noses and sense of smell. Sniffing is what they do naturally and they are brilliant at it. This workshop is designed to introduce you and your dog to the world of scent detection and harness that natural ability. Dogs are taught to identify and search for a specific odour - we use Gun Oil which is the most common in scent detection. It's a great way for you and your dog to work together as a team, build your bond and confidence. It uses the dog's brain as they need to concentrate and focus on the task. For most dogs this mental stimulation can be more tiring than physical exercise alone. After you've completed an Introduction Workshop you can then do Beginner's Scent Searches. We hold them on a regular basis in various locations. When you feel confident to progress, you can do one of our regular Scent Searches. We also run Scent Skills Classes where you can practice different techniques such as line handling, indication or motivation. Also open to you is competition trials with the National Nosework Association. We regularly hold Trials Odour Recognition Tests at all levels. www.thenationalnoseworkassociation.co.uk

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE START OF ANY CLASS OR COURSE WILL NO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND. TRAINING CLASSES/COURSES You can cancel your place at any class 2 weeks prior to the start of class and a full refund will be given. Cancellations 1 week until start of class will be given 50% refund and any cancellations after this date no refund will be offered. This will only be reviewed in exceptional circumstances. 1:1 SESSIONS Once booked these sessions can be cancelled two weeks before training package commences and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before training session commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. All 1:1 Dog Training Packages must be completed within a 6-month period except upon prior written agreement. MASTERCLASSES Once booked these sessions can be cancelled two weeks before Masterclass commences and receive a full refund. Cancellations 1 week before Masterclass commences receive a 50% refund and no refunds are given for cancellations after this time except in exceptional circumstances and prior written agreement. A client can reschedule a Masterclass only once and up to 48 hrs before the Masterclass commences. COVID 19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION In the event of the introduction of a national or local lockdown all payments taken for 1:1 training, training classes or behaviour consultations will either become a credit on your file or they will continue in an appropriate online format. No refunds will be given but every option will be explored to ensure learning continues for you and your dog safely and in line with your original training goals. All classes will be honoured but please note that COVID-19 government restrictions may result in a delay.
