Life Skills for Dogs Good manners make everyday life with your dog easier, safer, and more enjoyable. This practical workshop focuses on teaching essential life skills that help dogs navigate the real world with confidence and self-control. Throughout the session, we will work on four key skills that every dog can benefit from: Door Manners: Teach your dog to wait calmly at doors and gates, preventing barging, rushing outside, and improving impulse control. Passing Dogs Politely: Learn techniques to help your dog stay calm, focused, and engaged with you when walking past other dogs, reducing pulling, excitement, or reactivity. Leave: Build a reliable "leave" cue so your dog can safely ignore food, objects, and other distractions both at home and out on walks. Settle: Encourage your dog to relax and switch off, helping them develop calm behaviours at home, in cafés, training classes, or when visiting new places. Using positive, reward-based training methods, this workshop will provide practical exercises, games, and management strategies that can be easily incorporated into everyday life. Whether you have a young puppy learning the basics or an older dog who needs a refresher, these essential life skills will help create a calmer, more attentive, and well-mannered companion.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY • Any online booking may be cancelled within a 14-day cooling off period and receive a full refund. • Cancellations made after the 14-day cooling off period are subject to a cancellation fee. • Cancellations made more than a week before the initial consultation appointment (and after the cooling off period) will be charged £10 cancellation fee. • Cancellations made within 7 days prior to the start of the course or class (and after the cooling off period) will be charged £30 cancellation fee. • Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to the start of the course or class (and after the cooling off period) WILL NOT be eligible for a refund. • Any cancellation fee will be deducted before refunding the balance. • No partial refunds will be given once a course has started. • Only in the most exceptional circumstances will these policies be reconsidered. If we have to cancel an entire class or course, you will receive a full refund OR be offered and alternative class or course. If we have to re-arrange a session within a class or course due to weather, staff illness, emergency situation etc, we will offer you an alternative date. WE DO NOT GIVE PRO RATA REFUNDS IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE ALTERNATIVE OPTION.
